In her book, Reading With Meaning, Debbie Miller suggests many children's book that are great to use for teaching certain comprehension components. This was a great list. Thanks for posting. I especially found the nonfiction texts to be helpful. I'm going to have to check out the Cobblestone magazine for kids. I've never heard of it. I do subscribe to Weekly Reader and the National Geographic for kids. National Geographic is really incredible. It's our first time subscribing. I think I like it better than the weekly reader!
